The ring grinding room, where the straight and beveled rings are ground to precise standards. No hand grinding is done in this shop to remove rust or pitting as the rings are far too critical a tolerance to do by hand.
Special beveled ring grinders assure that the rings are ground precise to make sure that the fit between the ring and fillet are exacting. Does your propeller shop have this?
